Embedded Software Engineer (Applications)

Embedded software Engineer required for software development and testing of digital/RF telecommunication products.



Essential Skills

· Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related subject.

· C programming language.

· Experience in development of software in real-time embedded systems.

· Hands on hardware/ software integration experience.

· Familiarity with Motorola / Freescale Microcontrollers

· Familiarity with TCP/IP, SNMP protocol stacks

· Familiarity with Embedded Linux, Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)

· Any experience with RF signal generators (ESG) or power meters, motor control or process control system

· Experience with JTAG and/or IDE debugging environments. Experience debugging under embedded Linux is very desirable.

· Ability to use a logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer

· Experience developing drivers under an RTOS

· Be able to bring up a new digital board and Board Support Package (BSP is the necessary drivers for interfacing the RTOS to the digital hardware and specialized app drivers)

Experience

About 4 years experience in a similar role.
