GSC is an IT professional services and Web Development Company geared to provide global solutions delivery in the areas of E-Business, Product Development, Product Migration, Custom application development to IT consulting services.

We have an opening for Senior PHP Developers. We are looking for candidates having total experience of 5 yr plus.

Role Description:
• Must be an expert in PHP (OOP), JavaScript, HTML & MySQL
• 5+ years of experience in relevant field
• Must have advanced skills in: DHTML, AJAX, AS2/3, CSS and XHTML
• Demonstrated knowledge of PHP Frameworks (Joomla, Drupal,Wordpress, OS commerce etc.) required
• Experience with Photoshop is a plus
• Experience with Java and other technologies (Perl, Python, etc.) is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of current web standards & browser/platform compatibility issues
• Good to have Object Oriented Programming Skills (PHP5).
• Must write efficient code with documentation.
• Can read code written by others. Has experience debugging code
• Should have worked on large scale projects like Survey application, social networking
• Architect software framework for next generation platform
• Define, develop, and deploy embedded frameworks and applications for payment sub-systems.
• Activities will span all phases of product development including requirements, architecture, design, implementation, validation and release.
• Participate in definition, design, and review of software architecture, design, application frameworks, and interfaces.
• Integrate and test software to confirm compliance with specifications.
• Support field trials by installing, testing, and troubleshooting software at customer sites.
• Lead a team of developers at multiple physical locations around the globe
• Mentor junior team members
• Experience with cross-platform development
• Experience with understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and reusable components. Demonstrated general knowledge of the electric utility industry and its regulatory environment
• Candidate should be willing to relocate to Bangalore within 3-6 months of joining

Critical Skill sets:

a) Excellent in PHP

b) Good Hands on experience on PHP (OOP), JavaScript, HTML & MySQL, DHTML, AJAX, AS2/3, CSS and XHTML

c) Demonstrated knowledge of PHP Frameworks (Joomla, Drupal, Word press, OS commerce etc.) required
